Hawkins Habitat for Humanity builds houses in partnership with low to moderate income people in Hawkins and Hancock counties of East Tennessee.  A class of people, that access to homeownership, is most often out of reach.  So anyone that falls into the low to moderate income limit, that has a need for housing, has the ability to repay a 20-30 year mortgage (maximum $350.00 month house payment,) is willing to help build their house or the home of others, is willing to attend homeownership classes, learn skills in home manangement, can make a $1450.00 downpayment, agree to partner with Hawkins Habitat throughout the duration of their mortgage, agrees to a crminal background check, and a drug test, etc.can apply.

You will need to come into the office at 310 Colonial Road  Rogersville, Tn.  It is a lengthy process, but we have folks there to help with any questions you might have.
